Through VirtualHarmony, my purpose is to work with traditional classical and light classical music - but do it in new ways. VirtualHarmony teases the listener's imagination by two methods. One is giving the music a new point of view by closely simulating the sound of traditional instruments most of the time, while seasoning the music with occasional synthetic sounds. The other way is by placing old music in a new context: setting up an imaginary concept for a recording and using unexpected music to create its atmosphere. (Movies do this but playing an old song under a scene to give it a certain ambience.) VirtualHarmony strives to be imaginative and delightfully paradoxical.
